Join us for a canoe tour guided by Stephan from Kreatour, where you’ll explore the old Danube’s natural charm and history. Perfect for couples, families, and small groups, this outdoor adventure combines sports with fascinating stories. Stephan, an experienced guide, ensures your safety and adjusts the tour to suit the group.
The tour lasts in total 3 hours, including a short break to relax and recharge. You can also snack on some food, swim, or unwind in nature. Canoes accommodate about four-five people, offering a chance to share the experience with others.

Pay the prepayment of 20 euros here below! The rest of the payment (40 euros) is paid in cash to your canoe guide at the tour. This way you don’t have to pay the full amount in advance. The total workshop price is 60 euros.
Why our Old Danube Canoe Tour?
After exploring Vienna’s main sites and enjoying its many treasures, it’s time for an outdoors experience. Whether you are a couple, a family or group of friends, this is the perfect way to combine nature, sports and history.
Important details:
Tour time: This canoe tour is offered weekly as a public tour as well as a private tour.
Duration: The tour lasts approximately 3 hours.
Language: The tour takes place in English, but our guide Stephan naturally speaks German for those who need it.
Guide: Your group leader will be Stephan from Kreatour. He is highly experienced and will ensure your satisfaction.
Children: In general, children above the age of 6 can join the tour, if accompanied by an adult. Usually our public tours are less for children and we recommend families to book a private tour instead.
What to bring: Make sure to bring water and food as no food will be provided during the tour. Each canoe has a 60kg waterproof bag to safely store your phone, food, and anything else you want to keep dry.
What to wear: Comfortable clothes and shoes! In summer, please bring a hat. Also, always check the weather forecast in advance to make sure you are dressed properly.
Payment: A prepayment is required to secure your booking. The remaining amount is paid directly at the beginning of the tour.

Send us an inquiry and we will check our canoe-guide’s availability. We can accommodate groups of up to 25 participants. Whether you are organizing a conference, a day trip to Vienna, a family celebration or an after-work outing, this tour can be the perfect addition to your program.
Tour conditions:
Minimum number of participants: The tour takes place both as a public tour and as a private. Our public tours take place with at least 4-5 participants. If we don’t reach this number, we will contact you to offer an alternative. Naturally a private tour takes place in any condition, except for bad weather.
Cancellation policy: You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours in advance. If you cancel your booking less than 48 hours before the tour we won’t be able to issue a refund. Certain exceptions apply such as emergency situations. Please note, we reserve the right to cancel the tour up to 48 hours in advance too. We will do so if our guide is unavailable due to a sudden change or if we do not have the minimum number of participants required for the tour.
Safety rules: Each participant will be asked at the beginning of the tour to sign a waiver. Stephan will provide you with instructions as well as a vest and for that you will be asked to provide your height and weight during the registration process. Please contact us if you have any further questions in this regard.
Pictures and videos: Please be aware that we might take photos and videos during the tour. If you don’t want to appear in any Secret Vienna promotional pictures, please let us know by sending us a message.
