The tour lasts in total 3 hours, including a short break to relax and recharge. You can also snack on some food, swim, or unwind in nature. Canoes accommodate about four-five people, offering a chance to share the experience with others.

After exploring Vienna’s main sites and enjoying its many treasures, it’s time for an outdoors experience. Whether you are a couple, a family or group of friends, this is the perfect way to combine nature, sports and history.

Important Details
Tour time: This canoe tour is offered weekly as a public tour as well as a private tour.
Duration: The tour lasts approximately 3 hours.
Language: The tour takes place in English, but our guide Stephan naturally speaks German for those who need it.
Guide: Your group leader will be Stephan from Kreatour. He is highly experienced and will ensure your satisfaction.
Children: In general, children above the age of 6 can join the tour, if accompanied by an adult. Usually our public tours are less for children and we recommend families to book a private tour instead.
What to bring: Make sure to bring water and food as no food will be provided during the tour. Each canoe has a 60kg waterproof bag to safely store your phone, food, and anything else you want to keep dry.
What to wear: Comfortable clothes and shoes! In summer, please bring a hat. Also, always check the weather forecast in advance to make sure you are dressed properly.
Payment: A prepayment is required to secure your booking. The remaining amount is paid directly at the beginning of the tour.
- Liability: Each participant will be asked at the beginning of the tour to sign a waiver. Stephan will provide you with instructions as well as a vest and for that you will be asked to provide your height and weight during the registration process. Please contact us if you have any further questions in this regard.
Cancellation Policy
- Full refund for cancellations made up to 48 hours in advance.
- No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours.
- We reserve the right to cancel 48h prior if the minimum of 6 participants for public tours isn’t met (full refund issued).
