Vienna by night can get quite spooky. On this “Spooky Vienna and its secrets” tour, there is nothing reminiscent of the kitschy Vienna of Mozart and Sacher cake. Muster up all your courage and delve deep into the spooky history of this city with our secret guide. We meet Maria Theresa’s vampire hunter and learn more about the dark, spiritualistic tendencies of Empress Elisabeth and the curse that once burdened the Habsburgs at the Hofburg palace. The Blood Countess was also up to mischief not far from here and today’s tranquil places turn out on closer inspection to be once gruesome execution sites. Stories of the dead and undead, witches and torturers accompany us through the dimly lit alleyways of Vienna and even St. Stephen’s Cathedral is said to have been haunted in the past!
