Are you a Harry Potter fan? If so, you have to visit Harry Potter The Exhibition in Vienna.
Last week we were invited to the opening of the new “Harry Potter The Exhibition”, which is located in Vienna’s METAStadt. The exhibition wants to combine interactive elements with pieces from the movie sets, like costumes. Here you can walk through different rooms that remind one of famous movie scenes, try some interactive games and even get to sit in Harry’s cupboard under the stairs.
The behind-the-scenes exhibition uses the latest innovations in immersive design and technology. Visitors can start their personalized journey through the extended Wizarding World on more than 3,000 m2. You will get an up-close look at authentic props and original costumes from some of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films. A big focus lies on the expanded Wizarding World including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. You get the opportunity to engage with innovative, awe-inspiring, and magical environments and installations in more than 20 rooms.
A further highlight is the 400 m2 gift shop featuring officially licensed products inspired by the Wizarding World. You can get your hands on exclusive, bespoke merchandise not available at any other Wizarding World experience. You can also visit the gift shop without an exhibition ticket during regular opening hours.
