Vienna, a city rich in history and culture, has been home to renowned Jewish figures such as Theodor Herzl, Sigmund Freud, and Gustav Mahler. Maschi’s cooking honors these individuals and the pre-Shoah Jewish Viennese community by revisiting their nearly forgotten culinary heritage.
The cooking workshops vary in length and last between 3-5 hours. They take place in a comfortable group size, and feature traditional menus tailored to the theme, prepared with enthusiasm and care. Whether you’re an experienced cook, a beginner, or just keen to discover new recipes, you are in the right place. Participants actively engage in the kitchen, and the shared meal is undoubtedly the highlight of the day!

All experiences feature, excluding our Apple Strudel Workshop, white wine, rosé wine, red wine, coffee, or tea. We will also warmly welcome you with a glass of Schnapps or a cocktail!
