Vienna nightlife spots

There is always something going on in Vienna, no matter the time of day. There are enough famous bars one can visit, but also a few only the locals know about. Here are some of our favourite Vienna nightlife spots:

Pickwick’s is a famous spot amongst English speaking natives, located near the Schwedenplatz. Here you can order a big variety of drinks, but also explore their books and video games.

A rather secretive spot is The Chapel, located in the 15th district. It’s a bit tricky to get inside, you first have to enter the Mozart’s Restaurant, inside of there the way is guided by a picture and as soon as you push the picture to the side, you will see the lettering of the bar. We’d advise you to make a reservation.

Another hidden spot is the Fritzcarraldo Speakeasy Bar, located in the 7th district. Look out for the beverage dispenser, a push on the button of the beverage dispenser is enough to let the hidden door slide into the wall after a short wait. We’d advise you to make a reservation.

If you want to visit a rooftop bar to chase sunsets you should visit the rooftop bar at the Radisson RED hotel, located near the Schottenring.
