Most of us love visiting new bars with friends or family, and we at Secret Vienna love our Viennese rooftop bars just as much. Today we want to tell you more about our five favourite rooftop bars/restaurants.
Located in the 7th district (Lerchenfelder Straße 1/3), you will get a stunning view of the whole city from this hotel’s rooftop bar. They offer a creative variety of cocktails and gin as well as different drinks you should definitely indulge in while visiting this urban and also quite trendy spot. Their signature drinks cost between 11 and 14 €, you can find all their drinks on their website. The rooftop bar is open Monday to Sunday from 5 pm to 11 pm.
You will find the LOFT on the 18th floor of the SO/ Vienna (Praterstraße 1, 1020 Wien). This rooftop bar is perfect for those of you who want to chase nice sunsets while enjoying a stylish interior. You can also dine here while enjoying cocktails, their cocktails range from 15 € to 18 €, their menu can be found here.
I’d advise you to make a reservation, they offer bar food Monday to Sunday till 10 pm.
This rooftop bar also offers a 360-degree view over the city; they are located in Vienna’s second district (Perspektivstraße 6). Most of their cocktails range between 8 € and 11 €, they also offer different kinds of drinks, besides the cocktails. For enjoying some nice food, you can either go for smaller bites or visit their restaurant. The bar is open Sunday to Thursday from 7 am to 10.30 pm and on Friday to Sunday from 7 am to 11 pm.

This Italian restaurant has its focus on Italian fish dishes. Here you can dine and drink with a nice view over the first district. Even though this is a pricier spot, the view is definitely worth it. You can find this bar in the Singerstraße 3 (10th floor, enter via the Hotel Royal). They are open Monday to Sunday from 12 pm to 11 pm.

Even though this spot is located in the first district (Schmerlingplatz 10), it’s calmer and more affordable than some other bars and restaurants. They are open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 4 pm and they also offer typical Viennese food.
