This famous street, which connects the State Opera and the Stephansdom, has a long history; first mentioned in a document in 1257. This street has always been one of the most distinguished streets in the city with the most important stores. Even today, Kärntner street is famous for being a shopping street, here you can find stores like H&M, Peek&Cloppenburg, Swarovski, Apple, and high end stores like Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors and Burberry. And don’t forget to admire the Hotel Sacher for a minute or two.
