Huber & Lerner

Have you heard of Huber & Lerner?

Another shop with a long tradition is located in Vienna’s first district (Weihburggasse 4) and is called Huber & Lerner.

Huber & Lerner is known for printing and embossing, stationary and writing implements. They do so since 1901! Franz Huber and Peter Lerner met as salesmen, they became friends and opened a small shop in Vienna’s first district. It didn’t take long till famous guests found their way to their shop. These famous customers included Richard Strauß, Arthur Schnitzler or the later empress Zita. Their business kept on growing and in the beginning of the 1930s they took over the shop where the founders originally met.

Today the fourth generation of the Huber family is running the shop in the Weihburggasse, a beautiful store you definitely should visit on your next trip to the inner city. They also have an online shop you can find here

If you visit the store tell them that you’ve read about them on our Secret Vienna blog, if you purchase more than 30€ you’ll get a small surprise to your shopping. You can find this and many other deals on our partners page
