The Nutcracker: the tradition of Christmas dancing together is reviving in Vienna

The Nutcracker is one of the productions you don’t want to miss this Christmas! Attitude Studios Vienna and professional ballet dancers come together to revive this Christmas dancing tradition in Vienna.

A forgotten tradition comes to life

Watching a community-based performance of Tchaikovsky’s timeless Nutcracker ballet might be one of a few Christmas holiday traditions that draw together family, community and professionals in English speaking countries. Surprisingly, this seems to be a forgotten tradition for such international city as Vienna. Despite all the Christmas vibes, markets and hot wine stands, Vienna does not seem to offer much of the Nutcracker immersive experiences. This play unites professional performers and dance lovers in creating the magic of the winter tale. That’s exactly what Attitude Studios Vienna aims to change.

Community based Nutcracker performances

This season Attitude Studios Vienna, member of the CID-International Dance Council UNESCO and a beautiful community of ballet enthusiasts and semi-professional dancers, joined by professional artists is striving to revive the tradition of the community-based Nutcracker performances that gather families together and turn holiday experiences into everlasting heartwarming memories.
