- Wean Hean – Wienerliedfestival
This festival focuses on Viennese songs. Tonight their program offers the chance to visit an event focused on jewish history in Vienna and on jewish composers and poets. It takes place tonight at 6 pm in the Jewish Museum Vienna. More information can be found here – The festival runs till the 22nd of May, make sure to check out their program.
- Editions – Parallel art fair
From tomorrow on till May 15th you get the chance to make yourself familiar with the new concept of EDITIONS, a new format with a focus on editions, graphics, multiples, small sculptures, objects, sculptures and art books. Art editions are the main aspect of this festival. The art fair takes place in the 8th district (Lehargasse 8, Tor 2). Visit their website for more information about tickets and their program.
- Craft Beer Festival
On May 13th and 14th (4 pm to 11 pm) the Craft Beer Festival returns. It takes place outdoors, on the Praterbühne. You’ll get the chance to taste Austrian craft beers, to talk to local brewers. Some live music will also entertain you. Click here for more information about tickets.
And finally, a small street festival takes place on May 14th (2 pm to 11 pm) and May 15th (10 am to 6 pm) at the Campus of the University of Vienna (Spitalgasse 2, Hof 1). Here you can visit booths of NGOs, listen to different music artists and poetry slammers. You can also take part in workshops and learn about eco-friendly shopping. More information can be found here
